Cohesion V1 uses Palatinose and SusCarb HBCD — two low-GI, low-osmolality carbs specifically chosen to empty the stomach quickly without GI distress. Magnesium is in the bisglycinate form, the gentlest version available. Most testers report no issues even on fasted long runs. If you have a sensitive gut, start with half a sachet in more water and build up from there.
Yes. The 12g formula is lightweight by design — 8.75g of slow-release carbs, three minerals, and a measured dose of caffeine. No bloating, no heavy GI load. Many of our testers prefer it fasted before a Saturday long run.
For training, take one sachet in 300ml of cold water 20–30 minutes before you head out. On race day, time it to finish 30 minutes before your warm-up — not at the start line. The caffeine peaks around 30–40 minutes in, so you want to be at the starting corral, not still in the car park, when the first phase hits.
